How long have you been a member and what keeps you coming back to SPENGA?


I started in June. I keep coming back because I want to beat my previous session's results. I want to crush my previous Spin stats, do more Reps or use heavier weights then I have ever done, and leave knowing I am stronger then when I entered. 
 
Fess up...RIDE, REP, REVIVE; which is your fave?! 


Spin.  Zone 3 is where the workout becomes a mental game. Ultimately, I love the feeling of being in a Zone 4. That is where my mind is saying "yes" but my body is saying "no." Then I have to push past and make my body obey. Doesn't happen every session but it is so rewarding when it does. 
 
How has SPENGA impacted your life?


SPENGA is my stress relief, my happy place where I can hang-out with my best friend. I am motivated and inspired by the entire staff who are always supportive, positive, and enthusiastic. When I am having a really terrible day, I can schedule a session and get all of the negativity out of my head. Plus, SPENGA got me in the healthiest place I have ever been both mentally (it forced me to come out of "my shell") and physically (I actually have muscles!!!). 


 
What's your favorite thing(s) to do, when you aren't WERKing out at SPENGA?


I enjoy casting, firing, and painting ceramics. 
 


What's something most people don't know about you?


I like to Cosplay at conventions. 
 


What's the best piece of advice that you can give to someone just starting out on their fitness journey?


Show up. Being consistent is the most difficult part but you will get results.
